What are your working hours? My regular working hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Any emails or requests sent outside of those hours will typically be addressed the following business day. At times, I may respond outside of those hours at my discretion, but it will not always be guaranteed. Please note that while I do work outside those hours, nothing will be addressed or responded to you until the next business day. If it's an absolute emergency, then a text is fine, but keep in mind. I may not respond immediately.
How do you want tasks off loaded to you?All work requests and to-dos must be sent via email. Receiving tasks through multiple channels (such as text messages, social media, emails other messaging platforms) creates too much room for things to get lost or overlooked. Keeping everything in one place allows me to properly track requests and refer back to them when needed, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
How do you plan for the work week?I work in time blocks for each client so that tasks are completed efficiently, and billing is accurate. Therefore, please send all tasks or requests before Monday morning whenever possible so I can plan the week accordingly and allocate the appropriate time to your business. I completely understand that things come up throughout the week, and of course, you are always welcome to send additional requests as needed. Having an overview of the majority of tasks ahead of time simply helps me manage schedules and priorities more effectively.
Do we schedule meetings?I ask that we set one up every Monday for 30–60 minutes. This allows us to review priorities for the week, discuss project updates, and make sure we are aligned on tasks and timelines.
How do you handle billing? Please keep in mind that all time worked is billable, including administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and coordination. Similar to working in a traditional office setting, time spent handling communication and administrative responsibilities is still time dedicated to your business. For on-site meetings, I also charge drive time to account for the commute, rising gas costs, and the time it takes me away from my desk and other client work. You recieve a bi-weekly bill when you are an active client that needs to be paid within 3 days.
